Conelius Pettus, owner of Payless market located next to the ACE GLASS shop which burned down during the 1992 L.A. Riots, is pictured holding a photograph of himself spraying a bucket of water over the fire on the night of April 29, 1992. Pettus is standing on the lot where the Ace Glass Shop used to stand.

Mrs. Jung Hui Lee, weeps at her son's grave at Hollywood Forest Lawn Cemetery on Saturday April 5, 1997. Lee visits her son Edward Song Lee's grave weekly. Edward Song Lee was killed on the early morning of May 1, 1992 during the second night of L.A. Riots when gun shots were fired at a vehicle that he was riding in. Edward Song Lee and his friends were responding to a call for help by Korean American shop owners from approaching looters over a Korean language radio broadcast.
