This is a view of a Jindo's head. This look is described as inverted triangle shape of the Jindo Dogs head.

Jindo Island page 14

Two red pups are relaxing next to their mother in the foreground. Jindo puppies of this quality sell for US$ 400 to 1,200 on the island. Visitors can obtain exit permit document from the Jindo County office which is absolutely necessary to take the puppy or dog outside the island or out of the country.

Based on my research on Jindo in the last several years, I have concluded that this is a serious dog. It has the stealth of an Asian wolf. It has the body of a wolf with a dog's temperament. It's a tenacious hunter, incredibly observant and extremely territorial. Its primitive canine instinct and predatory tendencies are not found in any other dog I've encountered yet.

This dog does not take anything lightly. When it growls, it means business. It barks only with a reason. It never gets lost. It's always trying to outsmart dogs and people around it. It follows its master with absolute submission. When given opportunities to roam free, it however does not wait for instructions, it thinks on its own.

Four-week-old Jindo puppies born in Los Angeles, California.
