This is a typical scene of an alley on the Jindo Island. Jindo dogs without leash watch their homes. There are lots of dogs everywhere but they somehow work out their own territories among them. I was told that there is no dog-biting-people problem on the island

Here is a couple of Jindos guarding their home. These dogs move aside when cars come by. They return to the middle of the road afterwards.
