I was awaken with a phone call from our night city
editor whoasked me to check out a bear in a residential area.
I went to City of Azusawhere a black bear was sleeping in a carport.
After California State Fishand Game warden fired few shots of
tranquilizer toward a bear that was sleeping ina carport, he came
out confused.

After darted with tranquilizers, a brown bear that came down to
Azusa neighborhoodwalks out to the intersection of Alameda Ave
and Sierra Madre Avenue.

After darted with tranquilizers shot by State Fish and Game wardens,
thebear walks out of the carport of an Azusa home to Sierra Madre
Avenue ataround 8a.m. Friday morning. Police officers shot and
killed the bear shortlyafterwards.

and Azusa Avenuesin Azusa early Friday morning.
